2013
Our first date was a concert in the park, which had already been rained out once. We were the only ones there! Gwen still refuses to acknowledge this was a date
2014
Our relationship blossomed in the beautiful halls of Ridgefield High School as we shared
headphones in the halls and edited each other’s horrible essays.
2015
Things were getting pretty serious, with junior prom and dates at Comic Con!
2016
After senior prom and graduation, we started what would be seven years of long distance, as Justin attended Johns Hopkins and Gwen went to study at Lafayette College.
2017
2017
Stuck riding the Greyhound to see each other, our weekend visits occurred less often than we would have liked!
But we were able to visit Greece
2018
College continued on and so did long distance!
But love was in the air as we attended three weddings in Gwen’s family.
2019
Our longest distance, as Gwen studied abroad in Austria and Justin graduated college and started work at APL. Justin was able to take a trip to Europe, where we took to the streets of Naples and Vienna!
2020
We “moved in” together after world events forced Gwen’s spring break trip to extend indefinitely… Gwen finished college and started law school virtually. We had lots of quality time with each other.
2021
Remote work continue as we embraced the outdoors, since we were allowed to go there. In the fall, Gwen moved to New York City to finally take classes in person.
2022
With things opening back up, it was a big year of travel for us. We took hikes through Mount Rainier, Zion, the North Cascades, and Bryce Canyon in between work, law school, and Renn Faires.
2023
Gwen graduated law school!
After Gwen took the bar and before Justin started his PhD, we spent three weeks in England, Ireland, and Iceland enjoying the sights.
We forged our wedding rings and started planning!
